Level 4 Award in Understanding the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF)
 
If you want to become an EQA or EV (External Verifier) as it used to be known, then you will need to gain this External Quality Assurance Qualification. This is the first unit in the full qualification and will give you that step towards becoming an EQA that most organisations look for to access the job.
Once you have achieved this award, most organisations will require you to complete the second unit, but to do this you need access to training organisations, so most companies prefer for you to complete the second unit in-house.
This is an online distance learning course for those who wish to check the quality standards on behalf of an Awarding Organisation.
On successful completion you will achieve the FutureQuals Level 4 Award in Understanding the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
This e-learning course is worth 6 credits on the qualification credit framework.
 
Level 4 Award External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF)
This award consists of two units, including the "Understanding" unit as described above, as well as the "Competency" unit that will qualify you to work as an EQA.
You will need access to at least two centres to complete EQA activities and gather the required evidence. EQA activities can be completed remotely.
