We understand that choosing the right training course is an important decision. Below are answers to some of the most common questions about our courses, qualifications, and learning options.

We aim to keep our prices as competitive as possible to make gaining an accredited qualification as accessible as possible. We also have the benefit of operating online which ensures the prices of our courses benefit you.
We use paypal, Direct Debit and BACS to keep things simple and secure. You can either click the link on the relevant course and it will take you straight to the checkout or receive an invoice with details of how to pay via bank transfer or direct debit.
You need to pay via Paypal, Direct Debit, Credit Card or BACS first and complete the registration form which will be emailed to you. Once we receive the payment and form, we will send you your course materials and information, usually within 24hrs. You can access everything you need as soon as we send it, so no need to wait until you submit your first assignment before you start the next one. You will receive full support until you have passed.
We are using a custom built Moodle system which has been used successfully within Education for many years. It is very popular with Universities. You have access to your own student section 24/7 where you can work on assignments, upload videos, access course material, contact your tutor directly and receive instant feedback on your own. We use Turnitin to improve academic writing and provide full guidance on how to avoid plagiarism and the use of AI within your assignment to upload integrity.
The registration period is set by our Awarding Organisation which is subject to change. They are based on the level and size of the qualification in terms of credits. If your registration period is close to expiring you can contact us to re-register which will be a fee set by Footstep Training. You will be sent an invoice which must be paid within 14 days. If you fail to pay and your course expires you will be required to pay the full price as shown on the website at the time. If you are close to completion, your registration is still live, and need extra time due to personal issues or circumstances, we can apply for an extension with Future Quals. It is their decision as to whether they grant it or not.
Yes. We are accredited with Future Quals, ILM and City and Guilds who have been approved by Ofqual. You will receive a certificate to prove your qualification and it is nationally recognised and accredited.
Yes. Your course is 100% online. It doesn’t matter if you use a PC, MAC, laptop, tablet or phone, as long as you have internet access, you can access your course.
Yes. Ofqual approve the standards for all qualifications and they have designed to apply to every industry. Once you gain the qualification you can assess, teach and quality assure in any industry as long as you are competent. This can be via experience or formal qualifications depending on the industry.
Yes. If you are studying one of our Education qualifications, Footstep-training does not supply learners or assessors for you to work with at present but we may be able to put you in touch with people who can help. You will only need two learners/assessors depending on the course you are taking with Footstep.
You will be allocated you own tutor/assessor to mark your work, but if you need to teach, assess or quality check work as part of your qualification, you must arrange this yourself.
